Opening Night: Let Them Eat Cake!







At the Opening Night Reception - Let Them Eat Cake - Attendees were greeted with a balloon-filled banquet room with desserts, cake and dolls! The event souvenir was a new sculpt (referred to as Duchess) on the Antoinette body (Takes the Cake - LE350); the Centerpieces were Madame a la Menthe (Green - with Daphne sculpt - LE100), Madame a la Framboise (Pink - with Kit sculpt - LE100), and Madame et le Citron (Yellow - Sydney sculpt - LE100). The three dolls stood on gold bases amongst the revelry of the event. Staff members dressed in 'Let Them Eat Cake' tee shirts, periods wigs and make-up. And...if you're lucky (and technology cooperates) we'll post Robert dancing to Single Ladies a little later!

    The dolls are amazing, I know I'm going to HAVE to get the one in lavender! It looks everyone had a great time!! Thanks for sharing with us who can't be there!!

    Well color me impressed! I love that new sculpt, and the little gold pedestal stands were adorable. What great dolls. And the staff were all looking dollishus themselves.

    Robert looks so handsome in the powdered wig! I love Daphne's green dress, and Sydney's yellow one. And there's something about the Duchess... Is she going to be a regular character in the Cami and Jon line?

    I am so much hoping there will be some leftovers of Madame et le Citron! I NEED HER! Love the outfit, the hair, and of course the Sydney sculpt!
    The lavender Duchess with the Daphne sculpt is just gorgeous but I know those will set at an ebay price too high for me! :(
